I shoot with a Canon EOS 400D (named Qiera by my Bebeh, Fei) most of the time, also with a Sony Cybershot T9 and with Veera, a HOLGA 120cfn.

I still think taking portraits is hard. I need to learn how to 'direct' pose more creatively. I, myself think the way I take pictures of people is cliche. Need.to.do.some.research. Gotta.think.of.ideas. I'm inspired by this!

I need to try and get more of those kinda bokeh in my pictures.

So busy these days, haven't been shooting pictures much..

Spring should be here already but it's been raining non stop since yesterday. It's still so cold!

Pictures taken last Sunday during the Malaysian Festival at Darling Harbour, Sydney. It was great fun.. Great entertainment and great food too! I only brought my 50mm lens with me.. It was a real challenge but I got to know how it function better now.. and gotta love the DOF but the soft edges effect is bit too much at times..



They even had apam balik..



and kickapoo!
